Senior Yearbook Ads

The bells on campus resound, a reminder of the final year your child will walk the halls of University High School. This is it!

These ads usually contain short messages of congratulations, best wishes, or continued success. The wording of the message is completely up to you, but this must be included and MUST be typed. Include the student’s name, your message, and how you wish it to be signed (i.e. “Love Always, Mom and Dad”). Along with the message, please include pictures. The more space you purchase, the more pictures we can fit. While the choice of photos is up to you, they must be of good quality (300 DPI/High resolution). If they aren’t, they will look grainy and pixelated once printed. Photos taken off of online sites are generally very poor quality and not printable. However, iPhone photos from a 5 or higher can be emailed at their highest quality. Any specific questions about quality can be sent via email to segilmor@volusia.k12.fl.us

Orders can be completed in one step online at yearbookforever.com. Otherwise, if you choose to submit a physical Senior Ad Order Form (see below) to the school, photos can be sent to us electronically at TitansUHSpress@gmail.com along with your typed message. In necessary situations, we will also take any original, physical photos, and once we scan them, we will turn them into the front office for pick up.

There is a limited amount of space available in the yearbook for senior ads. Completed orders will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

If you purchase a Senior Ad, please remember to purchase an actual yearbook also for your student.

Welcome back for the 2024-2025 school year! The UHS Press staff is excited to celebrate your senior year with you/your student. and are already hard at work on the 2025 Odyssey Yearbook. Important Reminders for Senior Tributes

1.       All senior tributes are created in house by UHS Press. We choose the fonts/color scheme to match the overall theme of the yearbook.

2.       After all tributes have been received, within the first two weeks of November you will receive an email from titansuhspress@gmail.com confirming the receipt of your students tribute, the size, the number of photos that were included, and informing you of any issues we may have found with your message/photos. Please keep an eye out for this email.

3.       Once your student’s tribute has been created, we will send you a proof to approve before it is placed in the yearbook. Proofs will go out between November 15-March 31. The proof is your chance to correct any mistakes we may have made, and request adjustments to the message/layout. You must request any changes within 72 hours of the receipt of the proof. If we do not hear back from you, your student’s tribute will be placed in the yearbook as is.

4.       Due to copyright law, UHS Press must receive a SIGNED RELEASE from the photographer/company to be able to include any pictures taken by a professional photographer in your tribute. This includes pictures taken as part of your student’s senior portrait session with Dean Stewart Photography. If we do not promptly receive the release, your student’s tribute will be created without it and no additional photos can be added. All releases must be submitted by no later than November 30th for the photo to be included in the yearbook.

5.       Photos must be single photos that are good quality and full color. No black and white, sepia toned, or photo collages will be accepted. If a photo appears blurry or grainy on your phone/computer, it will look worse when printed in the yearbook. We recommend you use photos from a variety of ages.

Best Wishes,

The UHS Press Staff
