Cambridge Test Results
Greetings UHS Cambridge Student,
I hope that you have experienced a relaxing and enjoyable summer break! Cambridge test results will be released on Friday, August 12th. A paper copy of your individual score report will be available during the first week of school. Please see me in room 4-307 to pick up your report. If you would like to receive your report via email then please respond to this email to request a copy. For security purposes, score reports can only be sent to your official VCS student email address.
Interpreting Your Score Report
Scores a through e are passing and recorded with a lowercase letter. Any other letter such as U or X, indicates a “not passing” score. If you do not earn a passing score to earn credit needed for the Cambridge AICE diploma then you must register for an alternative course, if available, or commit to retaking the Cambridge assessments in the fall testing series. Most of the AICE diploma candidates graduating in 2023 are now beyond the testing window to earn credits and therefore do not have the option to enroll in additional courses or retake assessments.
Retaking a Cambridge Assessment
Eligible students may elect to retake a Cambridge assessment (paper) during the fall testing series in October and November. Volusia County Schools will not pay for a retake exam. Any student electing to retake a Cambridge assessment will be responsible for the cost of the exam. Additional information about assessment retakes will be emailed to candidates that need to consider this option after scores are released on August 12th.
Good luck with the start of the new school year! Please see me during lunch in room 4-307 if you have any questions or concerns.
