Any Titan interested in joining the bowling team, there will be a bowling interest meeting today at 11:15 in the athletic office 2b-110.

There will be a meeting for all students interested in joining the Criminal Justice Club in Deputy Dye's classroom 1B-101 during the second half of lunch today. There is a large amount of very cool events happening this year. Please come see what the CJ Club is all about this year.

Titans plan to join us THIS FRIDAY as our titan football teams takes on the Deland bulldogs at Spec Martin at 7pm. Come out and cheer on our team.

The 6th Congressional District of FL Congressman Ron DeSantis Academy Day will be this Sat. from 9:30am to 12pm at Spruce Creek HS Auditorium. All HS students and your parents are invited.

Titans support our cheer team and get your vehicle washed this Saturday at Fancy Fruit from 10am-3pm.

Herff Jones representatives will be on campus Monday, Aug. 20th to host the Junior class ring presentation during 4th period.  Juniors will report to their 4th period class and be called out of class via the PA system. Juniors you will be given a class ring packet to take home. Order dates will be the following: Fri. Aug. 24th during lunch time in the courtyard, Wed.  Aug. 22, Thurs. Aug. 23rd & Wed. Aug. 29th in the evening from 5:30-7:30pm in the lecture hall and Saturday Aug. 25 & Sept. 1st from 10-12 in the lecture hall. 

PERT TESTING: Attention all Juniors & seniors who need to earn their Algebra 1 EOC graduation requirement…. You will receive a testing notification in your math class tomorrow (Wednesday).  If you do not receive a purple PERT notification to test for a concordant score, please see Mrs. Bynum or Dr. Middleton in the media center BEFORE Friday.  Your available testing dates are Monday, August 20th – Wednesday the 23rd.

Attention students who wish to Dual Enroll.  The PERT will be administered next Thursday, August 24th & Friday the 25th ONLY.  You may sign up outside the media center this week only.  You will NOT receive a testing notification, you simply sign up to test and report to 1B-209 at 7:30am.  There will NOT be any make-up dates for this administration.

Upperclassmen interested in planning events on campus such as homecoming, please attend the SGA Student Council interest meeting on Tuesday, August 21st at 11:15a in SGA Headquarters located in the old ISS room in the cafeteria. I hear there’s pizza! Freshmen interested in joining will meet separately on that day during the first half of lunch in Mr. Haught’s room 1C-309

Homecoming Tickets will go on sale Monday, 8/20 for the early bird price of $25 in the Student Activities Office. Students must have a current student ID to purchase a HOCO ticket.  Price will increase on September 15th to $35.

Our annual Powder Puff Game will be Sept 19th. Any titan interested in participating, please attend the interest meeting on Monday 8/20 at 11:15a in SGA Headquarters.

Titans, Homecoming themed T-shirts and Class Color t-shirts will be on pre-sale for $10 each starting Aug. 20th during lunch. You must pay when you order. Teachers, please email Ms McCann if you would like to purchase. We will not order extra shirts, you must order during this time only.

GSA- the Gay Straight Alliance Club will host their first meeting next Thurs. Aug. 23rd during lunch in room 4-105.

Titans just a few quick reminders…

Dress code is in effect. If you are not in dress code you will face disciplinary actions.  A polo or button down oxford shirt in one of the 4 school colors orange, gray, white or black. Acceptable lower garments are the following: pants, shorts, capris, skirts, skorts and jumpers must be a solid color of navy blue, black or tan with no stripes, decorations or embroidery and black & blue denim is acceptable as well.

Students driving on campus…must have an approved 18-19 UHS parking pass decal. The number on your decal is your assigned spot for this school year. If you do not park in your assigned spot or if you do not have a current approved decal you will face disciplinary actions.

Late students and students being checked out for any reason will do vis the auditorium check out window located in front of the auditorium. There will be no check ins or check outs in the front office. You will be redirected to the auditorium check out window.

Juniors & Seniors leaving campus for lunch out…remember to return to campus on time. You DO NOT want to be late and have your lunch out revoked!

The ACTIVITIES OFFICE, 2B-110 will be open before first bell, during lunch and after school from 2:45 to 3: 35 for to purchase lunch out, school Id’s, athletic passes, lockers, yearbooks and parking passes. Titans please remember you can make all necessary purchases on-line at www.uhstitanscom by clicking on the green MAKE A PAYMENT button.

The BIG RED BUS will be on campus this Friday. Titans 17 years old  and older can sign up to donate blood during lunch time in the courtyard starting tomorrow. Students that are 16yrs old and would like to donate blood must pick up a parent permission slip and return it completed to donate blood. You can pick up the permission slip at the One Blood table set up in the courtyard or the activities office, 2B-110.

Parking Passes may be purchased by eligible students only. We have a limited number of parking passes. Parking passes will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

Lunch Out may be purchased by eligible Juniors and Seniors ONLY. 

Students that purchase student ID's please come prepared to take your picture that day.

Class fees and past obligations may also be paid for during orientation days.

If you purchsed school polos at ther Polo Ordering Event on July 17th, polos will be available for pick up during orientation.

Cash, check & credit cards are acceptable forms of payment for all items on the above dates.
